So much so that when I get my eyes tested and get new glasses I always get a second pair as polarized. I tried using my regular glasses with polarized sunglasses over them but it was just too much extra weight for a day of fishing. Next I decided I would go with contacts and then I could wear regular polarized sunglasses. That didn't work so well as my eyes just dried out way to fast and I would end up putting on my glasses again. The second set of glasses as polarized was the way to go for me. The lenses are glass, so they don't scratch as easily. Fishing is just so much more fun when you can see past the glare. I love polarized lenses when I am fishing.
